North Luangwa National Park
The North Luangwa National Park is situated in the Luangwa Valley. The park is teeming with wildlife and is a Big Five Zambia Safari Destination. The lifeblood of the park is the Mwaleshi River – which runs along the park with low banks and clear shallow waters.
The habitats of the park are a combination of mahogany forests, valleys, and mopane woodlands. These habitats support a range of varied wildlife – from the big to Zambia’s only population of the endangered black rhinoceros. The park combines wonderfully well with South Luangwa National Park – so you can get a comprehensive Zambia Safari experience.
